September Dan Grading & Promotions
Congratulations to everyone on their respective Dan grade promotions, following the testing on 23rd September 2023. You set a fantastic standard and put on a great show.
Seven students were promoted to 1st Dan, one to 2nd Dan, one to 3rd Dan and two to 4th Dan - an outstanding achievement.
Best of the Best Seminar
On 21st May, the Club attended a seminar with Grand Master Ho Sik Pak. It was the first opportunity since 2019 to train with GM Pak and it was great to have the opportunity to spend time with such a highly renowned martial artist.
Northern Championships
On 29th April, we took a very strong team to the Northern Championships in Manchester. Again, there were some fantastic performances from our students, and many came away with medals. Well done to everyone, and thank you again to those who made the journey to support the team.
March 2023 Grading Test
Well done to everyone that took part in the recent grading test on 11th March. Again, there were some exceptional performnaces from some of our students.
Congratulations to two of our students on their Cho (1st) Dan promotions and to Master Navarro on his promotion to Sa (4th) Dan, an outstanding achievement.
Competition Success
On November 5th, the Club attended its first competition in nearly three-years. There were some outstanding performances by members of the team and we came away with 33 medals, including 12 Gold.
Well done to everyone who participated and thank you to those who made the journey to support the team.

September 2022 Grading Test
Congratulations to everyone on their promotions following the grading tests on 9th, & 10th September. There were some outstanding performnaces from some of our students.
Of particular note are three Dan Grade promotions to Cho Dan, and three to E Dan; all ladies too!
Birthday Celebrations
In April, the Club turned 10-Year's old and held a small gathering following its regular Saturday class. Thank you to everyone for coming along to celebrate a real milestone and for the fantasic support over the years.
Grading Test Dates
The following are proposed grading test dates for the forthcoming financial year. Please note that these may be subject to change pending the availability of the venue.
10th December 2022 -11:30am - 1:30pm - Brighouse Swimming Pool (Gup Grades)
11th March 2023 -11:30am - 1:30pm - Brighouse Swimming Pool (Ko Dan Ja Testing)
Return of Grading Tests
During the first weekend in October we held our first grading tests in over 18 months. This is the first time several of our students have tested formally even though some have been training with us for well over a year. Congratulations to all of our students that gained promotion following the grading, particularly the four students that tested to 1st Dan Black Belt. Well done to you all!
